Indian Quarter Eagles
1911-D $2 1/2 Weak D AU53 PCGS. Unlike on other Weak D 1911-D quarter eagles that we have seen recently, this piece shows a faint but readily discernible mintmark. An almost full silhouette of the D is visible under a loupe with no special angles or lighting needed. The sharp wire rim also appears along the right-hand obverse border. This AU coin offers original olive-gold color and has minimal abrasions.
