The 2017 Guide Book Closed 3 mintage of 112,480 pieces is incorrect, since the figure excludes the Open 3 production and quotes a separate mintage figure of 112,505 coins for the Open 3 variety. In reality, both date styles account for a portion of the total mintage of 112,480 pieces. Uncirculated Closed 3 examples are seldom seen. Census: 23 in 62, 12 finer (4/17).
