1890-CC $5 MS61 PCGS. Variety 1-A, an early die state with no reverse cracks. This is a nicely struck yellow-gold half eagle with fewer marks than usual for the MS61 level. Luster illuminates the borders and motifs. The 1890-CC is scarcer than its '91-CC successor but is nonetheless obtainable in Mint State.
