The Closed 3 dies were rejected early in the year for having a final digit that appeared too much like an 8. Original peach-gold surfaces are thickly frosted and readily appealing. The reverse is definitely clean for the grade, while the obverse features minor scattered grazes. Exceedingly elusive any finer.
