THESSALY, Thebai. Early 3rd century BC. Æ Chalkous (9mm, 2.13 g, 9h). Head of Demeter right, wearing grain wreath / ΘΗΑΙΩΝ (sic), Protesilaos disembarking prow right, holding sword and shield. Cf. Rogers 551, fig. 308; BCD Thessaly I –; cf. BCD Thessaly II 760; HGC 4, 34. VF, green patina. Interesting misspelling of the ethnic, missing the 'B.' Very rare.
