Judaea, Bar Kokhba Revolt. Silver Zuz (3.11 g), 132-135 CE. Undated, attributed to year 3 (134/5 CE). 'Simon' (Paleo-Hebrew), bunch of grapes with leaf and tendril. Reverse: 'For the freedom of Jerusalem' (Paleo-Hebrew), fluted jug with handle on left; in right field, willow branch. Hendin 1433; Mildenberg 163 (O21/R105); TJC 285. Rare - only nine specimens cited by Mildenberg. Struck on a nice broad flan. Choice Very Fine. Estimate Value $600 - 700
