Pages are in good condition but binding is poor. Coins of the Jews is 329 pages, 279 marvelous woodcuts, and a fold-out plate of alphabets (ripped). Published in London in 1881; copy 30 of 30 "Large Paper Copy Printed." Much of the text is still useful, as are the apendices of Weights, Money in the New Testament, and Talmudic Writings on the Coinage of the First and Second Revolts. Pages in good condition, but original covers are scuffed. Every collector of ancient Jewish coins should have these references in his or her library. Lot of 2 books. Estimate Value $200 - 250
