Biblisk Slegt-Register is folio, 44 x 30 cm. 210 pages, including woodcuts of a number of Greek, Roman, Jewish and Byzantine coins; also lovely plates of temples; family trees, etc., with charming gothicfont. An interesting early reference for students of biblical numismatics and history. Contemporary brown calf, extremities a bit rubbed but binding sound. Fine condition. Consignor acquired from a Kolbe sale in 1998 for $375. The Josephus work features five pages of woodcuts of ancient Jewish coins by Sigeberti Havercampi. Printed in 1741. Over 600 pages. Binding is starting to fall apart, but pages are in very good shape. Consignor purchased from David Hendin for $350. Lot of 2 books. Estimate Value $650 - 750
