Roman Judaea, ca. 2nd-3rd Century AD. Impressive Glass Carafe. Fashioned of translucent, pale green glass, this large, symmetrical bottle has a flared rim over a decorative rib, long, cylindrical neck, and bulbous body ornamented by vertically oriented ribs. Traces of iridescence in shades of violet, blue, and green. A rare treasure on this scale, intact and in perfect condition. Height: 8¼". Estimate Value $800 - 900
