Great Britain. Coronation Gold and Silver Proof Set, 1902. Fr-398a-401a; KM-PS15; S.PS9. Edward VII, 1901-1910. Set includes gold 5 and 2 Pounds; Sovereign and ½ Sovereign; also the silver Crown through Maundy Set. Silver with light gray toning, original case included. An interesting diversity of grades for an original set. The crown graded proof-65, rest of the silver, graded proof 63 and 64 and the gold graded a conservative proof 61 across the board. The gold coins are free of any scuff marks and are quite attractive. Lot of 13 coins. NGC graded Half Crown, Matte Proof 62; 1 Pence, 3 Pence, 4 Pence, 6 Pence, Shilling, and Florin NGC graded Matte Proof 63; 2 Pence NGC graded Matte Proof 64; Crown NGC graded Matte Proof 65 and the Four Gold Coins NGC graded Proof 61.
