Rx: [BASI?EOS] / [?H]MHTPIOY / TEO - ? / [F]I?A?E?FO? / [N]IKATO?OS Vertical anchor, flukes upward, PO in exergue. A rare variant adding "God" (TEOY) to the king's epithets on the reverse, published by SC-1927A from only three specimens, all from a single obverse die. Our specimen is also from that obverse die, but brings a new control mark PO on the reverse; the previously known controls were none, A?, and AO. PO had been known as a control on SC-1926 of the same issue, and its interpretation, whether the date 170 or just a control, is discussed in SC, p. 287.
