Bust draped r. wearing stephane, crescent behind shoulders. Rx: ?????V - ?????????O? around, ? / ? / ? - G / ? in field, Dionysus standing l., holding cantharus over panther and thyrsus. Ex Berk 106, 20 January 1999, lot 789. Rare: apparently from the same dies as the eight specimens listed by RPC-1371. The former error ANNIAN in the obverse legend of this die, present on the next lot in this offering, has here been corrected in the die to EPENNIAN.
