L I[I]I P Togate priest holding long staff and plowing r. with two oxen; above, eagle with raised wings standing r. on palm branch, head l., wreath in beak; in exergue, half figure of river god swimming r. looking back. Purchased from Fred Knobloch, 4 May 1968. Very rare double-portrait obverse type of Decius and Etruscus, occurring only on this one obverse die, which was coupled with three reverse types, namely our plowing scene, Two city goddesses clasping hands, and City goddess sacrificing.
