The first London Pavilion Music Hall was built in 1859 and remained in use until the late 1870s. After the construction of Shaftesbury Avenue a new London Pavilion Theatre was opened in November 1885. It was redeveloped into a cinema in 1934 and is now part of the Trocadero centre
