CARTHAGE. Circa 310-290 BC. Stater (Electrum, 20 mm, 7.56 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing grain wreath, pendant earring and elaborate necklace; to left, pellet. Rev. Horse standing right; below ground line, three pellets. Jenkins & Lewis Group V, 291 (same dies). SNG Copenhagen 137 (same dies). A charming example of particularly fine style. Minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
