TAURIC CHERSONESOS. Chersonesos. Circa 210-200 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 3.88 g, 12 h), Menestra..., magistrate. Laureate head of Artemis to right, bow and quiver behind neck. Rev. XEP / MENECTPA Artemis advancing left, striking stag lying left with spear, and holding bow with left. Anokhin 763. Anokhin, Khersonesa, 136. SNG Stancomb 484 var. (reverse legend arrangment). Very rare and of unusually nice style. Struck slightly off center with some flatness, otherwise, good very fine.
