MACEDON. Akanthos. Circa 500-470 BC. 3/4 Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.40 g). Facing head of lion. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with granulated recesses. SNG ANS 27-29. An attractive example. The obverse somewhat rough in the right field, otherwise, good very fine.
