CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. "Armoricans". 3rd Century BC. 1/4 Stater (Gold, 13 mm, 1.84 g, 12 h), imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized head of Apollo to right. Rev. Devolved charioteer in biga right; below, facing head (?). D&T 2015. Very rare. Struck slightly off center and with a few minor marks, otherwise, very fine.
