KINGS OF PAEONIA. Patraos, circa 335-315 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 12.77 g, 9 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΠΑΤΡΑΟΥ Paeonian horse­man, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping right and spea­ring fallen enemy; to upper left, monogram. Paeonian Hoard 246 (same reverse die). A rare variety. Traces of overstriking and with a small die break on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
