ATTICA. Athens. Circa 430s-420s BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 17.16 g, 9 h). Head of Athena to right, wrearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Kroll 8. Svoronos pls. 12ff passim. Sharply struck on a very broad flan and with a full crest. The tip of the nose off flan, otherwise, extremely fine.
