ATTICA. Athens. Circa 420s BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 17.11 g, 10 h). Head of Athena to right, wrearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Kroll 8. Svoronos pls. 12-13 passim. Perfectly centered and with an unusually individual head of Athena. Two small test cuts, two scrapes and minor graffito on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
