MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 27 mm, 12.67 g, 1 h), circa 85-75. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between the snake heads, KA above monogram; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, thyrsos entwined by a serpent. Kleiner 35. SNG Paris 1738-9. Traces of overstriking, otherwise, good very fine.
