China Peoples Republic of China 3 Yuan 1953 Pick 868s Specimen. The red overprint is boldly printed on this elusive 3 Yuan specimen. Through the third party holder, the paper appears to have a quite original texture, though it did not receive the EPQ designation. We recently sold another example in this exact grade in our December 2016 Hong Kong venue for $4302. The example offered here is every bit as pleasing and should fair just as well, if not better.
