China Peiyang Tientsin Bank 1 Tael ND (circa 1910) Pick S2521r. A semi official bank that got its start in 1902. It never did achieve the importance that it strived for in its early years. This is the first time that we have been able to offer this denomination from this rare banking institution. The inks are ideal on both sides of this remainder that has two dragons and a portrait of Li Hongzhang on the face. A harbor scene vignette at bottom rounds out the description on this charming note that is more than satisfactory for the grade of PMG Uncirculated 62 EPQ. HID08701242017
