THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 420-400 BC. AR Drachm (19.5mm, 5.62 g, 12h). The hero Thessaly, nude but for petasos and chlamys, holding a band around the forehead of a bull leaping right / ΛΑΡI/Σ-AIA, horse prancing right; all within incuse square. Lorber, Thessalian 51; BCD Thessaly II 369.1; HGC 4, 418. VF, lightly toned, rough in areas.
