Moesia Inferior, Dionysopolis. 1st Century B.C.-1st Century A.D. AE 15 (14.55 mm, 2.93 g, 5 h). Head of Dionysos right, wreathed in ivy / ΔΙΟΝΥ[C - ΟΠ]ΟΛ[ΕΙTΩΝ(?)], legend above and below filleted thyrsos with head to left, ornamented with bunches of grapes and stars . Apparently unpublished - not in RPC I; SNG BM Black Sea --; Cf. NumCirc December 1997, pg. 372, 9; Cf. SNG Stancomb; See. 117; Cf. NumCirc December 1997, pg. 372, 9 (AE 12 mm). VF/Fine, green patina with small areas of sandy encrustation, tops of devices worn clean.
