Constantinople mint. mIXAHL S ΘЄOFILOS, facing busts of Michael on left with short beard wearing chlamys, and Theophilus on right wearing loros; both crowned; a cross between their heads / large M between X / X / X and N / N / N; above, cross; beneath, Θ. SBCV 1642; DO 9-11. good VF, smooth, dark green patina, well centered and more fully struck than usually seen.
