Anonymous (attributed to Constantine X). Ca. 1059-1067. AE follis (30.68 mm, 7.79 g, 1 h). Anonymous, class E. Constantinople mint, struck ca. 1060-1065. Nimbate bust of Christ facing, wearing pallium and collobium and holding in both hands a book of Gospels; IC - XC across fields , all within dotted border / ISXS / BASILЄ / BASIL, inscription in three lines, ornamentation of a cross above and a crescent between lozenges below, all within a continuous border. SBCV 1855. VF / good VF, choice, fully-round flan, well struck, green patina, some minor corrosion spots on obverse.
