The Bicentennial Council of Thirteen States issued this series to commemorate the anniversary of the American Revolution. Each cachet (envelope) was postmarked at the post office serving the site commemorated, on the exact 200th anniversary of that event. This complete set consists of seventy 900 grain sterling silver Proof ingots, in the original album, paperwork included. The ingots were originally issued from 1973 to 1981. The pure silver content is approximately 121.40 Troy ounces.
