LYDIA. Philadelphia. 2nd-1st century BC. (Bronze, 19 mm, 6.87 g, 1 h), Hermippos son of Hermogenes, magistrate. Draped bust of Artemis to right with bow and quiver over shoulder. Rev. ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΕΩΝ ΕΡΜΙΠΠΟΣ EPMOΓΕΝΟΥΣ / ΑΡΧΙΕΡΕΥΣ Apollo seated left on throne with a back upon which rests an owl, holding phiale and resting elbow on lyre. SNG Cop. 337-8. BMC 10. Beautiful dark green patina and very well struck. Reverse slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
