Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.52 g, 6 h), Rome, 118. IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG Laureate bust of Hadrian to right with slight drapery on his far shoulder. Rev. P M TR P COS II / SALVS AVG Salus seated left on throne with a back, feeding out of patera serpent coiled around altar and leaning left arm on throne. RIC 46. C. 1350. Very sharp details, lovely toned; very attractive. Somewhat irregular edge, otherwise, extremely fine.
