ISLANDS OFF THRACE, Thasos. Circa 2nd Century BC - 1st Century BC. (Bronze, 20 mm, 6.79 g, 1 h), Diademed and draped bust of Artemis to right, bow and quiver over shoulder. Rev. ΘΑΣΙΩΝ Herakles nude, but lionskin tied around neck and falling over his shoulders, advancing to right, drawing bow about to shoot an arrow; Λω and BΦΝ monogram to the right field.
