SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos II Theos. 261-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 16.94 g, 12h). Lysimacheia mint. Diademed head right / Apollo Delphios, testing arrow and placing hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monograms to outer left and in exergue. Cf. SC 483.7; cf. HGC 9, 236a. VF, lightly toned, struck from a worn obverse die, some roughness and horn silver.
An interesting variety that does not have a mintmark at all (usually a lion's head in the exergue), the monogram to the outer left appears to have been erased in the die, and the monogram on the left in the exergue is unlisted.
