PAPHLAGONIA, Germanicopolis. Caracalla(?). AD 198-217. Æ (18mm, 3.50 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle flying right, grasping rabbit(?) with its talons; rabbit is standing right on a rocky outcropping. Unpublished in the standard references. Fine, dark green to black patina with earthen highlights/deposits. An unusual reverse type, with nothing similar found in CoinArchives.
