UNCERTAIN EAST. Circa mid 12th century or later. PB Seal (37mm, 27.42 g, 12h). Facing beardless young bust of Christ Pantokrator; across field, IC XI (sic) with macron above each / Five-line blundered legend ending with cross pattée and pellet. Cf. S&S Type 4 (Artuqid dirham; for stylistic type). VF, earthen brown and gray patina. An unusual item of possible cross-cultural interest.
