1662 2PENCE Oak Tree Twopence, Small 2, AU53 PCGS. Noe-29, W-240, Salmon 1-A, R.4. 13.1 gn. A lovely cream-gray Oak Tree type coin. The obverse is nicely centered, and shows a complete legend and all of the outer beads. The reverse is misaligned toward 10:30 but also has full legends, though the upper outer beads are off the flan. The A in ENGLAND is softly brought up, and the AT in MASATHVSETS is a bit weak, but the remainder of the strike is consistent. Satin luster is apparent across unmarked surfaces. Listed on page 40 of the 2018 Guide Book.
