Lincoln Cents
1917-S 1C MS65 Red NGC. Light copper-gold color with occasional mint and orange variations. A bright Gem with strong definition and eye appeal. Like many of its fellows, the 1917-S is a readily available cent in lesser grades, but in Mint State with fully Red surfaces, this is far from true. Census: 2 in 65 Red, 0 finer (5/17).
Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2009), lot 178, where it realized $5,462.50.
