Early Half Dollars
1794 50C O-104, T-11, R.5, VG8 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 1/2. Housed in a previous generation green label holder, this stone-gray example of the scarce O-104 variety displays olive-gold accents that are deepest at the borders. Strong definition for the grade exists despite die clashing on the reverse. The date is fully visible. We note two small digs on the obverse and another above the eagle's head on the reverse, as well as other small marks across lightly porous surfaces.
