1897-O $1 MS63+ PCGS. CAC. Apparently a sizeable percentage of the mintage of 4 million 1897-O dollars were dropped into circulation after minting. Better-grade Uncirculated examples are surprisingly scarce considering the mintage. This is an attractive, satin-surfaced Plus-graded MS63 that exhibits bright golden toning over each side. Softly struck in the centers, as always, with a few small abrasions well concealed by the toning.
