1809 1/2 C C-3, B-4, R.1, MS63 Brown PCGS. Wide date, 09 close; High leaf just beyond S, ES high. Splashes of lavender patina overlay the light red-brown surfaces on the obverse. A well struck and nicely preserved type coin. The only noticeable abrasion, on either side, is located below the H in HALF, on the reverse. The dies are rotated about 30 degrees counterclockwise. Our EAC grade AU50. Population: 1 in 63 Brown, 8 finer (6/17).
