1793 1C Chain, AMERICA, Periods, S-4, B-5, R.3, Fair 2 ANACS. Although the date is absent, the obverse has a complete profile and bold LIBERTY. The chain and denomination are complete on the reverse, with the statutory legend partially readable. While a glass reveals some faint, old scratches, the walnut-brown surfaces are smooth and glossy. An attractive example. Our EAC grade AG3.
An envelope accompanies this lot with the note: "From Del Bland at the Philly A.N.A. 8-'69."
