PCGS estimates that there are "about 15" Close AM 1992-D cents known, although significantly more than that number are listed on the population reports of the two leading services, suggesting either new finds of the variety or greatly inflated submission totals. This Choice AU example shows no loss of detail to wear but has slight high-point rub that prevents a Mint State designation. Lavender and steel-blue overtones accent coppery-orange underlying luster.
