Proof Three Cent Silver
1863 3CS PR66 NGC. An attractively toned example with dappled sea-green and cerulean-blue accents over pale peach-gold toning on the obverse, complemented by a richly toned reverse where blue and reddish-gold shades command the eye. Frosted devices are sharply struck except for a few of the reverse stars, with nice mirroring of the fields that show a few light die polish lines but no marks to mention. Housed in an old, pre-barcode NGC holder with hologram still intact. Census: 14 in 66 (1 in 66+, 1 in 66★), 9 finer (5/17).
