Barber Half Dollars
1906 50C MS65 NGC. A mintage approaching 2.7 million coins might suggest otherwise, but the 1906 is rarely seen at the Gem grade level. Each side is sharply struck, including the stars, fletchings, and the right shield corner. Specks of crimson patina cover the mostly brilliant obverse. The reverse features an area of golden-russet color near the right border. Census: 18 in 65, 1 finer (5/17).
