1927-S 50C MS64 PCGS. Despite the mintage of nearly 2.4 million pieces, the 1927-S is a better date in high grade, and examples grading better than MS64 are genuinely scarce. This impressive near-Gem shows excellent surface quality with vibrant, satiny mint luster and hints of pale gold toning. Moderate weakness on the central high points of each side contribute to the grade. PCGS has graded 88 numerically finer examples (6/17).
