1938 50C PR68 NGC. A stunning Superb Gem with mostly brilliant surfaces. The obverse has two patches of deep reddish-gold toning, one at the top and the other at the bottom. The reverse has similar coloration confined to the lower border from 4 to 11 o'clock. Neither NGC nor PCGS has certified any examples finer. Census: 56 in 68 (7 in 68 ★), 0 finer (5/17).
