1882-CC $1 GSA MS65 Deep Prooflike NGC. This incredible Carson City dollar is entirely unlike most pieces that came out of the GSA sales of four decades ago. Most GSA dollars exhibit extensive bagmarks and frosty surfaces. This piece, lacking all but inconsequential marks, has fully mirrored fields and highly lustrous devices. NGC has certified 137 examples in MS65 Deep Prooflike, and just six finer pieces (6/17).
