1799/8 $1 15 Stars Reverse, B-3, BB-141, R.3, VF25 PCGS. Bowers Die State III. The remnants of an undertype 8 show beneath the final digit in the date and the oversized end clouds on the reverse cover all but a few telltale points of two extra stars, identifying the popular BB-141 overdate. The pleasing lavender-gray surfaces are lightly abraded and much interior design detail remains intact on the central devices. A line of small planchet flaws crosses the eagle's head.
