1871 $1 PR60 NGC. OC-P1, R.2. A well struck specimen that displays a hint of tan patina on the reverse field. The motifs are frosty, but cameo contrast is limited by delicate field hairlines. Although the 1871 business issue has a high mintage, only 960 proofs were produced.
