Morgan Dollars
1879-CC $1 AU58 NGC. Normal Mintmark. An AU58 grade is relatively uncommon for the 1879-CC dollar. As one would expect, there is considerable remaining mint luster on each side, giving much of the appearance of an Uncirculated coin. The obverse is toned in deeper shades of golden-rose with blue peripheral color. The reverse, however, is almost completely brilliant. Lightly abraded, especially so for an 1879-CC, the only surface blemish of any note is an oval-shaped stain on the nose of Liberty.
